Hittin’ the road in 2017!

The holidays are over, the decorations are down (Ok, most of them, since I leave up a pencil tree in my dining room year round) but January has arrived and wow, is this year going to be busy!!

First and foremost, and totally on-writing related–I am looking forward to being a first time grandmother!! Little jellybean is due at the end of March!! Not sure what flavor yet,(they aren’t finding out until birth) but praying for a healthy little bundle, of course!

On the writing front–I have a number of road trips planned this year, starting with the Romantic Times Booklovers conference being held in Atlanta, Georgia this year! (hopefully the snow will be melted by then!) The conference runs from May 3-7, 2017 and offers readers and authors a chance to mingle, party, and of course, celebrate our mutual love of books! Not only is there a multi-genre booksigning on June 10, from 10 am-2 pm at the Holiday Inn/Gold Dust Casino, but readers and authors will also have the chance to hang out together and take in some of the wonderful sites in Deadwood and the surrounding area!! Planned for the weekend , starting on Thursday will be the opportunity to join authors for a couple of ghost hunts of historical hotels, an 1880’s train ride through the Black Hills, a visit to Mt. I’ll get to meet you in Deadwood. South Dakota is my home state and I’m excited that they are having a book signing so close to home. Looking forward to meeting authors that I have not had a chance to.
