Looking Back, Looking Ahead with Sarah M. Anderson + Giveaway

web-color--2Happy New Year, everyone!

First off–the winner of my entire print 2016 backlist is moosehog83! Congratulations, moosehog83! Send your snail-mail address to message @ sarahmanderson . com!

How was your break? I swear, when I was a kid, I don’t remember getting two and a half weeks off for Christmas and the New Year. In fact, I remember being really happy when the days fell just right and we got a whole week between Christmas and the New Year instead of having to go back for two days before New Year’s Eve.

Yes. I am old. At least I didn’t have to walk up hills both ways. But kids these days are spoiled rotten. To add insult to injury, The Kid didn’t even go back to school on Monday. He went back on Tuesday because there was a teacher inservice.

Let’s just say it’s been a really productive four days. Ah, my sweet, quiet house! We did have a great break. We managed to dodge snot and weather to visit all the aunts, uncles and grandparents and everyone got what they wanted. As we’ve previously established, I am *old* so I’m really excited about this totally awesome heating pad I got. No pointy corners!! It’s so soft and not-pointy!

2016 was a crazy year in SO many ways, not the least of which was the fact that I had an amazing authorial year. Let’s recap, shall we?9780373734382.indd

WHEW! Right? I mean, I know I’m nuts but that’s a special kind of crazy right there. Luckily–at this point!–2017 doesn’t look to be quite that crazy. Here’s a peek at what’s to come this year:

March: Billionaire’s Baby Promise: The third book in the Beaumont Heirs: Beaumont Bastards book, featuring Daniel.

For the baby’s sake

Secretive billionaire Daniel Lee is known for being ruthless. But he’s discovered his conscience when it comes to Christine Murray. Once, he’d smeared her name to win a campaign. Now that she’s back in the spotlight, with a precious baby to protect, Daniel’s determined to make amends. Even if rescuing Christine and her daughter means sweeping them away to a life he shares with no one

He’ll do anything to earn Christine’s trustand to have her in his bed. But now that the sexy single mom and her adorable daughter are on his turf, he can’t seem to let them go

prideandpregnancy-finalApril: Pride and Pregnancy: Tom Yellow Bird finally gets his book!

It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of good sense must not mix business with passion.

Like that will keep Tom Yellow Bird from pursuing the woman who shocked his senses at first sight. Yes, the wealthy FBI special agent’s job is to work a case involving the Honorable Caroline Jennings. It is his duty to protect the beautiful judge. Yet nothing stops him from acting on the attraction between them. And once he discovers Caroline is pregnant…any good sense he’s ever had completely vanishes.

But when a secret Caroline is keeping is finally revealed, will Tom’s pride become his ultimate undoing?

Also April: Home on the Ranch: Rodeo (a Duo reprint of Rodeo Dreams and One Rodeo Season)

August: Seth Bolton’s book. We met Seth when his mom Jenny married Billy Bolton in Bringing Home the Bachelor. He’s all grown up now and a chance meeting with Kate Burrows as she runs away from her own wedding changes everything…

Sept.: Eric Jenner’s book. Eric Jenner was Marcus Warren’s best friend in His Forever Family. But when childhood friend Sofia Bingham applies for a job, he discovers she’s not the little girl he remembers anymore–instead, she’s a mom with twins!

After a crazy year like 2016, only have four things on the schedule seems…insanely light. But I’ve got a few secret projects in the hopper that hopefully will see the light of day soon!

I mentioned my newfound love for the heating pad. What was your favorite gift this season? One lucky winner will get a pair of cute earrings and the print book of their choice!

My hubby and I didn’t buy each other gifts this year, we bought for the grandkids, 8 of them, lol. But the month before he bought me a new outdoor lawn swing and finally finished setting it up after Christmas. We had a frame already so it was new swing and chains. So that was good enough but I guess what I really loved was that for Christmas we actually got to spend 3 days with our daughter and grandkids who live out of town. Best Christmas present ever!! ❤

  5. Teresa Forduce says:
