Bucket List–Rhonda Lee Carver

Hi, y’all! Rhonda Lee Carver here! I hope everyone had a fantastic Thanksgiving. I spent it with my loves. I even got to relax a few hours. And watch several Hallmark movies.

My friends and I met for an engagement party–or rather, small gathering. We played a game and each of us had to make a short and sweet bucket list. Wow, nothing gets a person thinking harder than listing the things they want to do to before they ‘kick the bucket’. We laughed so hard at the answers that were given. Have you made a bucket list? I wanted to share some of the answers with all of you.

  1. Visit a yoga resort
  2. Go on a cruise
  3. Kiss a girl
  4. Have a threesome
  5. Visit another country and have sex with a native
  6. Go nude on a beach
  7. Have sex in a hot tub
  8. Live alone
  9. Learn to accept a compliment
  10. Own a real diamond
  11. Learn to play the piano
  12. Have sex on a piano
  13. Make a prank call to a celebrity
  14. Tell my ex what I really think of him
  15. Flick a booger at someone I hate
  16. Watch porn with my mister
  17. Try out every sex toy in a shop
  18. Wear three inch heels without breaking my neck

And there were many more…

If you dare, post some of the things that are on your bucket list.

I want to show off my new cover. Thank you, Becky McGraw! If you need a hot cover, check out Cover Me Photography.

Here’s an unedited excerpt from A Perfect Cowboy Daddy (Cowboys of Nirvana Book 7).

17+ please!

“Moon?” he called out again.

And then he saw her.

Oh brother, did he see her.

She was leaning against the counter in the galley kitchen, wearing nothing but a white cowgirl hat, scuffed boots and a smile that spoke volumes. He gulped down a large dose of reality as he skimmed her firm, rounded breasts, fat, budded nipples, and to the apex of her thighs. Her groomed pussy made his mouth water. He needed a drink of water from that well again.

Damn, he hoped he could use his voice because he was growing so hard, so fast, he wasn’t sure he had an ounce of blood left in his brain. “Moon?”

Her smile grew and so did her nipples. “I didn’t think you’d ever get here. It’s not right to keep a horny woman waiting.”

He swallowed hard. “I was checking Nola’s wound and it took a bit longer than I planned. We’ll talk about that…”

She shifted one smooth hip, opening her thighs ever-so-slightly. He knew it was probably his imagination, but he swore he could inhale her womanly scent on the air. Oh shit, how he liked that scent. “Doc, I didn’t invite you here to have a conversation. I wanted to offer you lunch.” She rolled her hips seductively.

He wasted no time as he practically leaped across the short space between them so fast that his hat flew off and landed on the floor. His cell buzzed in his front pocket and he ignored it, as well as the little ‘ump’ that drizzled off her luscious lips. He yanked her into his arms, dragging her naked curves against his fully clothed, hard body. He could have melted into a sack of bones right then and there.

Nuzzling his nose in her silken hair, he breathed in her shampoo, and scent of seduction. He savored the smell—savored in the fact that here she was, naked and ready for him. How had he gotten so lucky?

He pulled back just an inch, still holding her tight. He stared into her dark eyes. “Do you realize what you’re doing to me?”

“Exactly what I want to do.” Her lashes fluttered. She stood on tiptoe and wrapped her arms around his neck. Her breast pressed against his chest, making his cock come alive. “Do you like my boots?”

“Oh, sweetheart. Best looking…boots…I’ve ever seen.”

About rhondaleecarver

Rhonda Lee Carver is the bestselling author of the Second Chance Cowboy Series and Cowboys of Nirvana Series. She’s emotional, fun-loving, known to be witty (sometimes at the wrong times) and values a good love story. By day, she taps into her creative, fictional world and writes beautifully-flawed, broken characters with big hearts that readers can relate to. In the evening, she travels back to reality and becomes the adoring, saucy wife, chauffeur for her two amazing kids, homework virtuoso (at least she thinks so), amateur nurse, mediocre chef, pet-guru, and a Jackie of all trades. She adds a sprinkle of her own real-life adventures in each story she spins. She wouldn’t give up one thing in her crazy, chaotic, ever-amusing life. Writing for Rhonda is like falling in love and finding a new best friend over and over again. Her characters will find a place inside of your heart too.

Fun lists! I would like to visit the continents I haven’t visited yet which are South America, Australia and Antarctica.

  2. Eileen Kolick says:

Well you’ve got me hooked!! When will it be available to pre-order or purchase?

  3. Shirley Long says:

    Love that cover!!!!
Since I’m old as dirt, my bucket list isn’t very long. My main wish is that sometime, before I croak, I want desperately to attend a romance writers convention. I visit with so many authors by email and love to read all their books so I’d like to meet them in person and actually talk with them. Other than that there’s not too much I actually wish for on a regular basis. Health, wealth and happiness would be great too.

  4. Shirley Long says:

Sorry, I forgot one. I want ALL of my kids and grandkids to totally independent and functioning on their on before I leave this world. Not there yet, but we’re working on it.

  5. Donna Repsher says:

I’m 64, and my bucket list isn’t all that lengthy, since I’ve fulfilled plenty of the wishes on your bucket list. Still on mine are:

    1. Learn to skydive
    2. Have a threesome
    3. Go paragliding
    4. Return to Ireland
    5. Tour the Greek Islands
    6. Travel cross country by car or RV

At least I can comment here, lol… Haven’t made a bucket list but if I would ever get the chance, I would love to visit Australia but first I guess I would have to win the lottery. Love that cover and oh, wow, the excerpt is soo hawt!! 😉
