It’s conference season! by Beth Williamson

Hey y’all! Beth here – I’m so excited to see conference season kick off for 2015! First up is the RT Booklovers Convention in Dallas, Texas next week. Who’s going?

I’ll be at some fantastic events including Take a Walk on the Historical Side big soiree Wednesday night, the Samhain No Waiting Dating on Thursday morning and my personal favorite, the Cowboy Corral on Thursday afternoon. Plus of course, the giant book fair on Saturday.

Conferences are not only where we get to hang out, meet, chat and bond with readers, but it also gives us writers a chance to see each other. We communicate throughout the year via email, FB, Twitter, IM, etc., but we only get to see each other 1 or 2 times a year. Sometimes a year or two goes by when we don’t see each other. Then when we all come together, readers and authors alike, it’s like we’ve never lost any time, right? 🙂

I’ll also be attending the RWA National Conference in New York in July, and then in August, Authors After Dark in Hotlanta. Woohoo!

What about y’all? Anyone attending conferences this year? Spill the details!
