Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy Stripper ??

Got your attention, didn’t I ?

Well, I thought it only fair to share my recent Vegas experience 🙂  While attending the Hot Mojave Knights Conference in October, the Friday night entertainment package was a trip to The Hunk Mansion. Sounds fun, right? And hey,  I saw the movie Magic Mike so I thought I knew what to expect…

LOL. Oh, baby. Let me tell you, this was different than what I expected. First, the club is in the smaller — and I mean maybe a 20 x 40 room — in the back of the Hustler Club. The stage is curved with chairs pulled right up to the edge. In fact, you set your drinks on the lower part of the stage. The men *sigh* are right up there, bigger than life. Ahem. The term ‘in your face’ fits this scenario well. It’s a very hands on experience. *grin*

They have a Fireman, a Cop, a Rapper, a Superman (gorgeous Clark Kent type) and last but not least, a Cowboy.

When the guys aren’t dancing on stage, they mingle around the room and tables (there are tables back from the stage). Since they’d been told a large group of Romance Writers were attending that night, they paid us special attention. Several of my fellow authors were led to the 2 circular sofas for “lap dances” – which was more than just a bump and grind session. In the back corner, there was high-backed, red velvet sofa like things for Private
Dances. I didn’t go back there. LOL   Yes, call me chicken. I left that to the more adventurous ladies

The cowboy — his stage name is Johnny Utah — has a T-shirt with the slogan, Save a Horse, Ride Johnny Utah. His opening song to dance to was, of course, Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy. I’ve attached some of the pictures I took. *Yes, you’re allowed to take all the pics you want*20131018_221945_resized

Anyway…….I can highly recommend The Hunk Mansion for you and your friends next time you’re in Vegas. The cover fee is very reasonable and they stay open until 2 a.m. ! You could even take your husband and leave him in the front part of the Hustler club where the girls are pole dancing!  LOL  Win-Win situation 😉

OK, here are some pics. Enjoy! I know I did! 😀  And yeah, I didn’t really take any other pics besides the wild and wicked cowboy….hahahaha 20131018_221806_resized

I’m sure it’s all in the spirit of fun, and everyone’s enjoying the evening. Just can’t help thinking that if it was girls on the stage we might say they were being exploited. Maybe this is really gender equalisation, that men are not afraid to get up and dance?

I’m going to have to put that on my list of things to do when I am in Vegas. I hope you had a good time!

Sounds like fun! Thanks for sharing with us who can only use our imaginations. 🙂
