Breed True~An Eclipse Heat erotic western.

Sharing a snippet and a video from my latest Eclipse Heat title, Breed True.  I had problems trying to get it embedded here to share. Excuse my fumbles. @_@

Blurb: Breed True
Eclipse Heat
Making a devil’s bargain, Julie Fulton agrees to marry Grady Hawks and produce the son he needs to inherit Hawks Nest ranch. At the end of a year, child or not, Julie will receive enough money to escape to San Francisco and leave behind the rough existence she lives.

Grady intends to breed back to the fair skin and Scottish features of his father and Julie meets every requirement. Her red hair and pale skin are an excellent way to dilute Grady’s half Kiowa blood. If Julie breeds true, their child will prove that the Hawks family is “white” enough to own Texas land.

The formula is right, but the outcome unexpected. Siring a son is the last thing on Grady’s mind when he discovers pleasure in Julie’s bed. And San Francisco no longer seems like paradise to Julie when she finds heaven in Grady’s arms.

“Open your eyes,” Grady coaxed and when Julie blinked up into the dark face hovering above hers, he explained softly, “I want you to know who’s kissing you.”

This time when his mouth descended, the soft caress was accompanied by the tip of his tongue lightly tracing the seam of her lips.

Julie gasped and tried to back away, but he kept her captive, tasting her—and by necessity—she him. Grady Hawks tasted like coffee.

He leisurely explored—tangling tongues until she leaned shamelessly against him, aroused and senseless. Catching her bottom lip between his, he sucked on it. Then he lifted his head and stared down at her, studying her face from gray eyes that didn’t match his bronze skin. “One more,” he muttered and took her mouth again.

Just in case anyone  manages to stumble onto this slapped together post and leaves a comment, I’m giving away reader’s choice of an Eclipse Heat series title. Will do the drawing tomorrow and post the winner back here.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

    • Gem says:

Molly, secret confession. After I read Sara McCarty’s Promise series (20 times and still counting) I became seriously hooked on erotic historical westerns. I love reading them–and writing them. 😉

  8. Clare O'Beara says:

Historical westerns are great and I’m sure that there was a lot of romance at that time, it just wasn’t discussed. Life was tough and there were formalities to observe. Sounds like a fascinating read.

    • Gem says:

Clare, that’s my premise every time I write an historical western. In spite of the harsh realities (or maybe because) both romance and sex were the dessert of life.

  9. Mary Preston says:

    WOW!! This sounds fabulous.

    • Gem says:

Hi Mary. Grady Hawks is a determined man. Combine that with a desperate woman and well… 🙂

Thanks so much for stopping by.
